動詞不定式可作主語,賓語,表語,定語,狀語,補語.具體如下:
1.作主語
eg:To clean the classroom is our task this afternoon.
To finish the work in such a short time seems difficult.
2.作賓語
eg:Do you mind my sitting here?
The room needs cleaning.
注意:下列動詞后要接不定式作賓語
afford.aim.appear.agree.arrange .ask .be .decide.bother .care .choose .come.dare.demand.desire.determine .expect.elect .endeavor .hope.fail .happen .help .hesitate .learn .long .mean.manage .offer .ought.plan .prepare.pretend .promise.refuse.seem.tend.wait .wish.undertake.

3.作表語
eg:Our task this afternoon is to find more information on the Internet.

注意:不定式作主語,作表語是都是表明動作是一次性的,將來的.
4.作定語
eg:I have nothing to do.
--Do you have anything to be done,sir?
--No,thank you.I had my son do it this morning.
注意:不定式作定語時要注意主動和被動的區(qū)別,如上面兩個句子,如不定式的動作是主語所作要用主動式.如不定式的動作不是主語所作要用被動式,如第二個句子.
5.作狀語
eg:He came here to see me.
I'm glad to see you.
6.作補語
eg:He asked me to help him with his English.
