“need”雙重角色的用法及其區(qū)別
“need”既可以作情態(tài)動詞,也可以作實義動詞,但是它們的用法不同.
1）need用作情態(tài)動詞的時候表示“需要”或“必須”,通常用于否定句和疑問句.
疑問句式：need +主語+動詞原形+...
eg.Need you go home right now?
否定句：主語+ needn't +動詞原形+...
eg:He needn't worry about it．
You needn't do the work now.
2而作為實義動詞時,適用于肯定、疑問、否定皆可.
通常用法是：
肯定句式：
人＋need ＋to do
物＋need ＋doing
物＋need ＋to be done
疑問句式：Do + 主語 + need + to do sth/doing sth/to be done?
否定句直接在need前邊加don't或者doesnt就可以.
另外,“need”后還可以直接跟名詞.請看下面的例子：
