例1：we insisted on his apology.
我們要他賠禮道歉.
例2：she insisted on seeing us home.
她堅(jiān)持要送我們回家.
例3：i insisted on their arriving there ahead of time.
我堅(jiān)持要他們提前趕到那.
注：1）insist on 后面不能接由“名詞或代詞 + 動(dòng)詞不定式”構(gòu)成的復(fù)合賓語.不能說：the teacher insisted on all the compositions to be handed in on monday.
2）insist +賓語從句（從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞常用虛擬語氣,即should + 動(dòng)詞原形或
省去should）.例如：the young men insisted that they （should） be sent to the front.
那些年輕人堅(jiān)持要求被派往前線去.
【用法二】v.堅(jiān)持認(rèn)為,堅(jiān)持說,強(qiáng)調(diào)
1） insist on +名詞.
例如：he insisted on his innocence.
他堅(jiān)持說自己無罪.
2）insist on + 賓語從句在表示一個(gè)客觀事實(shí)時(shí)（謂語動(dòng)詞不用虛擬語氣,而應(yīng)用陳述語氣）.
例如：the boy insisted that he hadn’t broken the glass.
那小男孩堅(jiān)持說他沒有打爛玻璃杯.
