1. The fox and the crow
A cow is sitting high up in a tree. He has a piece of meat in his beak.
A fox comes and sees the crow. He thinks, “I’d like to get that meat.”
“oh crow,” calls the fox, “your voice is the most beautiful in the world! Please sing a little song for me!”
The crow has never heard anyone say such sweet words before. He opens up his beak and he begins to squawk and sing.
The meet falls down into the waiting mouth of the fox below.

2. Friendship first
Croaky is a frog. His friend, Puffy, is a fish. They often have swimming races. One day, Puffy tells him, “There is a flower on the other side of the pond. Let’s see who can get it first!”
They start. Suddenly, a big bird appears and wants to catch Puffy. Oh, no! Puffy is in danger! Croaky comes at once and helps him. Finally, they drive the bird away. They’re tired, so they help each other to get the flower. They are happy because now they know that friendship is more important than winning!

3. Look at the Sky from the Bottom of a Well
There is a frog. He lives in a well and he never goes out of the well. He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of well.
One day a cow comes to a well. He sees the frog and says, “frog, let’s have a talk.” Then the frog asks, “Where are you from?” “I fly from the sky,” the cow says. The frog feels surprised and says, “The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well. How do you fly from the sky?”
The crow says, “The sky is very big. You always stay in the well, so you don’t know the world is big.”
The frog says, “I don’t believe.” But the crow says, “You can come out and have a look by yourself.”
So the frog comes out from the well. He is very surprised. How big the word is!
坐井觀天
有一只青蛙住在井底,它從來沒有去過井外面.它以為天空就和井口一樣大.
一天,一只烏鴉飛到井邊,看見青蛙,就對它說：“青蛙,咱們聊聊吧.”青蛙就問它：“你從哪兒來?”“我從天上來.”青蛙驚訝極了,就說：“天空就只有井口這么大,你怎么會是從天上來的呢?”
烏鴉說: “天空很大.只不過你一直呆在井里,所以不知道世界很大.”
青蛙說：“我不相信.”烏鴉說：“你可以出來, 自己看看嘛.”
于是青蛙來到井外.它十分驚訝,原來世界這么大!
