A:I prefer to work alone because I can enjoy my freedom and no one can disturb me.
B:I don't think so. Working alone is boring as you have no one to talk.
C:I agree with you, Mr B. However there may be some problems. In my view to work in a group is the best option.
B:What kind of problems can it be?
A:You don't have freedom, for example you will be over heard when you are on telephone.
C:I don't mean that because the freedom you metioned will not be there for working in a group either.
A&B:What problems can you see?
C:Working with a partner in a office has some advantages of you mentioned, Mr B. You can discuss about the problems with your partner, you can help each other and even cover each other's work when either got personal problem has to leave office for a little while. But it can be a problem if your partner is a lady. Your good work relationship can be misunderstood by others, especially by your wife who can be jealous and hustle you all the time. If you keep it secret, then it will be even suspecious and you will never be able to clear yourslf once your wife knows it.
B:Yes, I understand what you said. But I can have a man as my partner. I don't see any problem to work in a office with a male colleague.
A:The problem of no freedom is still there. For example it the man keeps talking with his mistress in office, would you try to leave the office to respect his pravicy or over hear his phone conversation.
B:I don't think I can leave the office all the time as I have work to do. If he does that it means he doesn't mind of my being there.
C:The problem can be more than that. Suppose you get along very well. Naturally there are more time you are together, going to the canteen at the same time and having lunch together. Then it can cause some misunderstanding among other colleagues who may think you are gays and leave you two there.Then your feeling would be terrible. So, the best option is working in a group.
B: Maybe you are right.
A: No, I will find it hard to concentrate. I don't think I can work in that kind of environment.
