In about ten minutes a middle-aged gentleman came along and began to look around.Mark Twain asked if he was looking for a dog.
The man’s face had been sad and troubled,but now it lit up gladly and he answered,“Yes.Have you seen him?”
“Yes.He was here a minute age,and I saw him follow a gentleman upstairs.I think I can find him for you,if you would like me to try.”
