1,這個句子的主語是Forty-two percent of people,“they turned to the back of the book to read the end before finishing the story.”應該是做 admitted的賓語,是賓語從句,然后就剩下 “asked admitted ”這個部分做謂語了,但是我又知道一個句子（不包含其中的從句）只能有一個謂語動詞,那這個asked是怎么回事?難道這里是ask的什么是類似副詞的用法?
