To be open means you have to have the courage to stand up for yourself when you need to.I study abroad in a remote country.I face with biases in a daily base.Some people behave rudely out of ignorance and disrespect for another culture.Having gone through a lot of things,I come to confront them in a gracious way.I know in China,people are alway considerate about others' feelings.That is why we keep a lot of feelings to ourself.But for some people in the world,we have to adapt ourself to the different.We need to be open to them and let them know they are wrong to do something.
