The Significance of Failure

Failure doesn't mean you are failuer,
It does mean you haven't succeeded yet.
Failure doesn't mean you have accomplished nothing,
It does mean you have learned something.
Failure doesn't mean you have been a fool,
It does mean you had a lot of faith.
Failure doesn't mean you've been disgraced,
It does mean you were willing to try.
Failure doesn't mean you don't have it,
It does mean you have to do something in a different way.
Failure doesn't mean you are inferior,
It does mean you are not perfect.
Failure doesn't mean you've wasted your life,
It does mean you have a reason to start afresh.
Failure doesn't mean you should give up,
It does mean you must try harder.
Failure doesn't mean you'll never make it,
It does mean it will take a little longer.
Failure doesn't mean God has abandoned you,
It does mean God has a better idea.
失敗不表明你是一個失敗者,
它只是意味著你尚未成功而已.
失敗不表明你一事無成,
它意味著你學有所成.
失敗不表明你是一個傻子,
它意味著你充滿信心.
失敗不表明你蒙受羞辱,
它意味著你勇于嘗試.
失敗不表明你尚未擁有,
它意味著你必須改換方式再試鋒鏑.
失敗不表明你低人一等,
它意味著你尚不優(yōu)異.
失敗不表明你浪費生命,
它意味著你可以重新選擇前景.
失敗不表明你應該屈服,
它意味著你須更加努力.
失敗不表明你永難遂意,
它意味著成功還需假以時日.
失敗不表明上帝拋棄了你,
它意味著上帝還有更好的主意.
故事；
Angel
Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born.
One day the child asked God: "They tell me you are going to send me to earth tomorrow but
how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God replied: "Among the many angels, I have chosen one for you. She will be waiting for
you and will take care of you."
"But, " said the child: "tell me here in Heaven I don‘t anything else but sing and smile.
That‘s what I need to be happy!"
God said: "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will
feel your angel‘s love and be happy."
"And," said the child: "how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, If
I don‘t know the language that men talk?"
"That‘s easy", said God: "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words
you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
The child looked up at God saying: "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God smiled at the child saying: "Your angel will Place your hands together and will
teach you how to pray."
The child said: "I‘ve heard on earth there are bad men. Who will Protect me?"
God put his arm around the child, saying: "Your angel will defend you - even if it means
risking life!"
The child looked sad, saying: "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God hugged the child: "Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you
the way to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be
heard.
The child, in a hurry, asked softly: "Oh God, if I am about to leave now Please tell my
Angel’s name!"
God replied: "Your angel‘s name is of no importance...you will simply call her MOMMY!"
有一個嬰兒即將出生.
一天,這個小孩問上帝,“他們告訴我明天你將要把我送到地球,不過為什么我在那兒會那么小和無助呢?”
上帝說,“在所有的天使之中,我已經(jīng)選中了一個給你.她將會等待你和照顧你.”
“不過”,小孩問了,“請告訴我－－在天堂我除了歌唱和微笑之外什么都不做.這些是我快樂所需要的!”
上帝說,“你的天使每天將會為你歌唱和微笑.你將會感受到你的天使的愛,你會感到快樂.”
“還有”,小孩又問了,“如果我不懂他們說的語言,當人們對我說話的時候我怎樣才會理解呢?”
“這很簡單,”上帝說,“你的天使將教會你語言中最美麗和最甜蜜的詞語,帶著最大的耐心和關懷,你的天使將教會你怎樣說話.
小孩抬頭看著上帝說,“我想和你說話的時候我該怎么做呢?”
上帝微笑著對小孩說,“你的天使會把你的雙手放在一起然后教會你怎樣祈禱.”
小孩說,“我聽說地球上有壞人,誰將會保護我呢?”
上帝把手放在小孩身上,說,“你的天使將會保護你,甚至會冒生命的危險!”
小孩看起來有些悲傷,他說,“我將會一直感到悲傷因為我再也看不到你了.”
上帝擁抱著小孩.“你的天使以后會一直跟你說有關我的事情,還會教你回到我身邊的方法,雖說我一直與你同在.”
在這一刻小孩在天堂感到了無比的安詳,不過已經(jīng)可以聽到從地球傳來的聲音.
小孩有點急促,溫柔的問“上帝啊,如果我現(xiàn)在將要離開,請告訴我我的天使的名字!”
上帝回答說,你的天使的名字并不那么重要,你可以簡單的叫她—— “媽媽”.
