二者都是副詞都表示因此,所以,如此
therefore 和 thus用法基本相同,但用時側(cè)重點不一樣.
therefore側(cè)重
1.結(jié)果,2.用于對某事物進(jìn)行推論
thus
1.強調(diào)用什么方式
2.達(dá)到某種程度或范圍；這么
3.同Therefore; consequently用法相同

therefore表結(jié)果,比so顯得更正式一些,在句中常與and連用；
如：
He was very tired, and therefore he didn't give the market report.
他非常疲倦,所以沒能作市場報告.
2.We have a growing population and therefore we need more food.
我們的人口在增長,因此我們需要更多的食物.
3.It was snowing, and so I could not go out.
天在下雪,所以我無法外出.
4.It was already rather late, thus we decide to urge the customer.
