Learning how to learn is one of the hot topics in education at the moment. In order to understand its importance, it is vital to understand the following two points.
First,there are different kinds of learners. For example, some people learn words better by listening to them being said, while other learn them better by seeing them in written form. This means that if a teacher asks all students to learn in the same manner, not all the students will learn the matter effectively.
Secondly,many students do not take an interest in learning. There are always students in every classroom who do not wish to be there.However, if a student were to learn about the learning process, chances are that he/she would start to learn more effectively.
