Basically,the picture vividly portrays a scene that two persons are confused and startling about the words in the advertising board,which conveys an another frightened meaning—sale of death bodies,instead of the topic of exhibition and selling goods.Apparently,the drawer is telling us the bad consequences of using words improperly and wrongly.
Beyond any doubt,the cartoon has subtly mirrored the in-depth implication that we need to have a right use of characters in our daily life,especially when engaging in other affairs in society.There are ,I reckon,at least two reasons accounting for such phenomenon of wrong applying to words and characters.For one thing,the careless attitude and poor awareness of some persons,lead to appearance of false gathered verbs—as the workers of making the board in the picture; for another one,some departments or firms do not give a sufficient focus on the code of the words,in which case the character use becomes to be more disorganized.Trying to rethink it,we will suffer from many unnecessary matters and problems if we let this situation continue as it is.
From my perspective,we can take some positive steps to curb this problem ,such as improving cultural and educational extent of workers ,or taking proper measures to supervise whether words are used right or not.I believe a good cultural atmosphere is awaiting us if we achieve progress in using and writing words.
