Voice from a Disaster Area
I can hear nothing,nothing but for the tears.
I can see nothing,nothing but for the pain.
I can feel nothing,nothing but for the cries.
The ruins are trembling and shivering,screeching with their last breath---then they gave up,shattering like glass,falling stone by stone,scream by scream.
I couldn't see.I couldn't hear.I'm right there,and I wasn't.I shout,but I'm muted.I run,but I went nowhere.
Everything is coming down.Coming down at me.
There is nothing bigger than the debris,nothing bigger to tear me away.
---And,last,I see the sun,but it was nowhere to be seen.
