比較other,the other,others,the others
以下通過(guò)一定的邏輯順序進(jìn)行辨別和認(rèn)識(shí)
1、other
1、形容詞,別的,其他的,如：
Do you have any other question(s)?
Ask some other people.
問(wèn)問(wèn)別人吧!
2、代詞
1.（兩者中的）另一個(gè)或另一些,之前常用定冠詞the,見(jiàn)下文“2、”
2.其他的,不是指剩下部分的全部,
相當(dāng)于other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞,見(jiàn)下文“3、”
2、the other
后接單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)名詞,表示在一定范圍內(nèi)的其余所有的人或物,如：
He has two daughters.One is a nurse,the other is a worker.
他有兩個(gè)女兒,一個(gè)是護(hù)士,另一個(gè)是工人.
Mary is much taller than the other girls.
瑪麗比其他的女孩高得多.
3、others
相當(dāng)于other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞,如：
（注意：所指的其他人并非其他所有的人,指其他部分的全部,
請(qǐng)看“4、”.）
ome people like walking.Some like running.Others like swimming.
有些人喜歡散步,有些人喜歡跑步,其他人喜歡游泳.
He is always ready to help others.
他總是樂(lè)于助人.
4、the others
其余的
相當(dāng)于the other的復(fù)數(shù)形式,特指某一范圍內(nèi)的其他全部,如：
Two boys will go to the zoo,and the others will stay at home.
兩個(gè)男孩將去動(dòng)物園,其余的留在家里.
Thirty of them are boy students and the others are girls.
他們當(dāng)中三十人是男生,其他人是女生.
