    With the development of economy,the leadership skill has been increasingly concerned.When it comes to whether a leader should make his staff feels involved in a decision,quite a few people believe that the answer should be negative.They maintain that a leader should let his team members learn to obey orders rather than make their own decisions and only in this way they could form into a well-disciplined group.However,I personally disagree with this statement and there are two main reasons I will point out below.
    First of all,by letting every member of the team participate in solving the problem a leader can collect all kinds of information and make an integrated decision,because when planning a project managers tend to consider more of the development strategies of a company and neglect the details of the plan,which may lead to failure of the whole project.Besides,a leader sometimes even doesn’t know how to carry out a plan in details,so he has to let his staff assist in making the whole plan.For example,a manager may want to sell his products on internet,but he knows little about the internet,let alone the network marketing.In this case,it is clear that the manager needs a network marketing expert to help him make the plan since he actually can’t do it by himself.
    Secondly,the work efficiency can be greatly improved by simply letting all the team members make decisions together.A team member might have the sense of achievement when some of his suggestions were adopted by the group and he would be more motivated to work for the team.Besides,this could provide a strong sense of belonging and enhance the loyalty to the team.As for me,I would definitely choose to attend a team that could allow me to participate in making major decisions,because it makes me feel that I’m really important to the group rather than a plain man who can be replaced anytime or anywhere.
    In conclusion,I strongly believe that a great leader should make his staff feel involved in decision-making,because this can help the leader make more integrated decisions; meanwhile,both motivation and working enthusiasm of workers can be greatly improved.
