1,Thefield survey , done recenlty in Ningbo International commercial city,shows the situationabout the standard on translation from English to Chinese of the local enterprise product package.
We can see there are many mistakes in the translationto varying degree in grammar , use of words , spelling and improper use in professional terms . So ,we analyzed some typical cases and results are as follows:

2,From these cases , we can find that many of the mistakes are obvious and most of them can be avoided . In random inspection , six translation paragraphs of four local industriescontains 34 mistakes, including 15 in grammar ,16 in the use of words , 2 in the spelling and one is leaved out .On the face of it, many enterprise does not check carefully after the finishing the translation on the outer packingorthe translators are not up to profession and lack of relevant skill .We can also conclude that the translation market in Ningbo is insalutary which has a badinfuence on the package of exporting productsevenon the cultural image of the whole enterprise. So ,it is urgent for the reorganization to improve.
