grow的用法：(grow有“成長”、“種植”、“變得”的意思.分別作及物動詞、不及物動詞和連 系動詞用.)
a.vt.栽,種植
Farmers grow rice in the south of China.在中國南方農(nóng)民種稻.
注意grow和plant的區(qū)別：plant只指種下去的事,而grow指的是管理植物生長的全過程.如：
(1) They plant some trees every year.他們每年都要種樹.
(2) In this part of the country,farmers grow fruit trees,and they sell a lot of fruit every season.在該國的這個地區(qū),農(nóng)民種果樹,某個季節(jié)都出售大量的水果.
b.vi.生長；成長；發(fā)育(兒童)長大
Rice grows in China,Japan and some other countries.稻生長在中國、日本和一些別的國家.
c.link verb (聯(lián)系動詞)變得(但仍可保留"生長"意)
(1) The boy is growing tall.這男孩長高了.
(2) My father grows old.我父親老起來了.
(3) Winter is coming,and the weather is growing colder and colder.冬天來了,天越來越冷.
