Advantage and Disadvantages of Being an Only Child
In recent years,raising an only child has become increasingly popular in my country.In this essay,I will look at the advantages and disadvantages for child who is the only one in a family.
The main advantage is that the only child can hold a more superior environment.On the on hand,the parents,who have the only child,can cost less on daily life,that means,they can provide their single children a better living environment like moving into a good neighborhood and let their children receive a better education.On the other hand,the only children can own more love from their parents than those have siblings,relatively,since the only one child sometimes means extemely important to a family.As a result,the only children are growing up with a better living enviroment fulfilled with love provided by their parents .
However,there can be disadvantages.Some only children may become selfish on account of their parents’ over spoiling.The fact is,the only children can receive almost everything from their parents,and when they occured to some frictions,their parents always on their side no matter weather they did is right.All of these may lead thought that it is a certain thing that parents should sacrifice for them.As a result,they seldom care about others feeling when they go along with others.
To conclude,I am convinced that the advantages of raising an only child outweigh the disadvantages.However,the parents should pay more attention on only child’s mental develoment at the same time,when they provide a superior physical environment.
