I would not trust him any more than i would trust a thief.
整個句子還原成簡單些的結(jié)構(gòu)：This is not new,and the the claims for the peace-making possibilities of other new technologies is not new,either.
或：this is not new.the previous technologies is not new,either,though the inventors claimed that those technologies have the possibilities for making peace.
