表示分?jǐn)?shù)時(shí),分子要用基數(shù)詞,分母用序數(shù)詞.如果分子大于1,分母必須用復(fù)數(shù)形式：

2／3→two thirds
1／4→a（one）quarter（或fourth）
3／7→three sevenths
1／2→應(yīng)讀作a（one）half

小數(shù)
表示小數(shù)時(shí),小數(shù)點(diǎn)前面的基數(shù)詞和前面講的基數(shù)詞的讀法相同；小數(shù)點(diǎn)后的數(shù)字則必須一一讀出：
0．0089→（zero ／naught）point zero zero eight nine
1．36→one point three six

百分?jǐn)?shù)由percent表示,百分號(hào)％讀作 percent,應(yīng)用時(shí)常與by連用.
0．68％→zero point six eight percent
6％→six percent
369％→three hundred and sixty nine percent
