More than two billion people live in Asia!This is about two-fifths of all the people on earth.This number includes parts of russia,all of China,Japan,India and many other smaller Asian countres.With so many people living in this area it is not surprising than there are many different Languages spoken.
About half of these two billion people speak Cinese.However,not all oral Cinese is the same.There are many dialects of this Language:Pekingese,Cantonese and Mandarin,to name but a few.It is quite difficult for the speakers of each dialect to understand each other's speech,they can well understand each other when they put the words on paper.
It all depends on the tone of voice that each dialect uses.At times,in one sentence,each word has a different tone,so that the same word might mean one thing in one dialect and another thing in a different dialect.
