THIS September 12 is the Mid-Autumn Festival.It’s a traditional (傳統(tǒng)的) Chinese holiday.It is on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar (陰歷).
During the Mid-Autumn Festival,the moon is round.The round moon stands for (代表) family reunion (團(tuán)聚) in Chinese tradition.Families get together at home and enjoy a big dinner for the holiday.They sit around a table,chat (聊天) and eat moon cakes.At night,they look up at the moon and give best wishes to each other.
