The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of my country's traditional holidays.The full moon is a symbol of the Moon Festival,and in the past,our ancestors ued the moon to represent their longings when they missed someone.
This Moon Festival was a happy day for me.On that night,my entire family created our own unique hotpot at home,with corn,potatoes,chicken meat,etc.I really liked all of these foods.Besides our family,we also had several girls over from my dad's teahouse.Their homes are too far for them to return to that night,but they did send their respects back to their family.As can be seen,the Mid-Autumn Festival is a family holiday.
After dinner,we sat around admiring the full moon while eaitng mooncakes.The moon on that night was especially round,and signified the union of a family.The happiest moment in my day was when my dad rushed home from Xian in order to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival with us.It felt great to have the entire family surrounding each other comfortably,eating mooncakes and admiring the moon.
The Mid-Atumn festival is happy holiday complete with family reunions.Every year at this time,everyone's hearts are filled to the brim with happiness.
