Seam-sealing is the process of completely sealing a seam on a garment against wind and rain.
Seam-sealing a fleece garment is very hard as you need to bring the two fleece faces of fabric together,stitch them and then use something to completely seal it,usually some kind of heat activated tape.
The Stoney Creek garments that are fully seam sealed are made in Rainwear Hydro Tough Fabrics.
Other fabrics such as the Silent Series fabric are not seam sealed but have the seams off the shoulder to avoid being in the way of direct rain.Garments not seam sealed will keep all but torrential rain out.
