Save The Water——Our Duty
Ladies and gentlemen:
Long long ago,there was a special planet.And it had a beautiful name,it was called the Earth.
The Earth is a“Blue Diamond”in universe because water has covered 75% of Earth. But there is only 2.5% is fresh water.The worse is that we can only use less than 1% of them!The water used to be abundant,but they are scarce now! I can hardly believe that!What have people done to them?
Water is one of the most important things to the human society. We use water to wash our clothes.We use water to have a shower.We can only live about three days without water.But there are still some people who don’t know the importance of water and they always waste water in many ways.For example,they wash vegetables or fruit under a running tap.This wastes a lot of water!And now just think over this question:If you see a tap dripping,will you turn it off at once?
In Nanhui,we discharge the harmful industry water into rivers.This pollutes the drinking water seriously!
Water is the source of the life,the blood of the industrial and the key of the agriculture.Not only the people but also the animals need water to survive.So we must stop polluting the water.We must take actions to make the rivers,lakes,streams and the seas become pure,too! And the most important is that we mustn’t waste water any longer,we should try our best to save it!
But how can we save water?I can give some suggestions.First,we should turn off the tap tightly after using the water.And also we can use the rice－washed water to mop the floor.All in all,there are so many ways to save water.We can choose any one. It is not difficult. Everybody will be able to do it if he pays a little attention to the protection of water.
Treasure water,love water and save water is our duty!Let’s save the water from ourselves!
