一般提出兩種或兩種以上的可能,問對(duì)方選擇哪一種.其結(jié)構(gòu)可用一般疑問句,也可用特殊疑問句.供選擇的兩部分用or連接,前者讀升調(diào),后者讀降調(diào).
e.g.Will you go there by bus or by train?
What would you like,coffee or tea?
How many pens do you have,one or two?
選擇疑問句的答語必須是完整的句子或其省略式,不能答yes或no.
e.g.Do you go to school by bus or by bike?
By bus.
Which would you like,tea or coffee?Coffee.
