Tsinghua University is planning to build a closer relationship with the prestigious University of Oxford.According to an agreement signed on Friday (22/4),the universities will conduct academic research projects and facilitate exchanges of faculty and students in the next five years.The two universities will also co-host seminars and workshops,making academic materials and publications more accessible to faculties and students at the two universities.The president of Tsinghua University expressed his view towards the cooperation,"The exchange of faculties and students can create great ideas." It is eveident that China has pushed its universities to be more internationalized.
清華大學(xué)正計(jì)劃與享負(fù)盛名的牛津大學(xué)建立更緊密的關(guān)系.兩間大學(xué)於星期五簽署協(xié)議,同意在未來五年,共同進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)研究計(jì)劃,并增加雙方學(xué)院、學(xué)生的交流.兩間大學(xué)亦將合辦研討會(huì)(講座)及工作坊,開放一定權(quán)限予雙方學(xué)院及學(xué)生,讓他們更容易取得學(xué)術(shù)材料及刊物.清華大學(xué)校長對(duì)此發(fā)表意見:"學(xué)院學(xué)生的交流能激發(fā)思維." 這表示,中國正推動(dòng)國內(nèi)大學(xué)步向國際化.
