一、作名詞
1.表示"終點(diǎn)"、"末梢"、"盡頭".
We walked to the end of the road.我們走到了大路的盡頭.
2.表示"結(jié)束"、"終止".
Winter is coming to an end.冬季快要結(jié)束了.
3.表示"死"、"死亡".
