"song of myself" has defied attempts to provide a definitive interpretation.Whitman said the United States themselves are essentially the greatest poem.His assertion suggest that a way to interpret the poem is as a celebration of America.
first of all, identigy what there is about America that can be celebrated.(ex:freedom, rights.)
