the others和other 都可以表示剩下的所有人或東西.如：一個班50個人,其中2個生病了,剩下的沒生病的那些人就可以用the others或other.例：only two students are ill,the others are healthy或者 only two students are ill,other students are healthy.唯一不同的是：the others直接用于名詞（代詞）,而other用于形容詞.
