My family and i move to the US in 2003 from West Africa.In our first week in the US,they were walking towards a park when an American family went past to us .Their little boy said “Hi”to us when we got closely.We had no idea when to say.We did not know what "Hi" meant at that time .We decide to say "Hi" back,not know if it was the right thing to do.Anyway,few days later,we learned that it was the right thing to do .And since that time,we have formed the habit in saying "Hi"to friends,colleagues,and neighbor as well.
