不能一概而論.agree to 的to 是介詞,只是其中一種情況,后面接plan,proposal和suggestion 等名詞,做介詞to的賓語.如：I don't agree to Tom's proposal；但agree to 的to 還可以是不定式的標志,做成短語 agree to do ...Would you agree to （ ）the operation？A.Parsons having full control ofB.Parsons controlC.Parson's having full control ofD.be in Parson's control of答案選C，為什么？這里的to 是介詞，后面C.Parson's having full control of 是個動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，做to 的賓語。現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補足語與動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)有什么么區(qū)別呢？我舉兩個例子：①動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)：I never heard of a person of character doing such a thing.②現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補足語：I saw a young mother slapping her child.可是這兩個的語法是怎么判斷的呢？就是說，是怎么判斷這是動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)而不是現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補呢？首先，介詞后面，是不存在賓語補足語的，所以，I never heard of a person of character doing such a thing 只能是動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，實際上，a person of character doing 正確表達法是：a person of character's doing .也就是說，doing 與 person of character 之間是所有格關(guān)系。語法書上說這句話也是動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，但這句話為什么沒有您說的介詞呢？Do you know Mary and her mother coming to see us last June？并不是說，凡是動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，就一定要介詞。及物動詞的后面，也可以用動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)的。但你要清楚，“名詞或代詞+doing”動名詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)中，“名詞或代詞”其實是“名詞或代詞's”才對的。你的這個句子，Mary and her mother coming 規(guī)范的表達其實是 Mary and her mother‘scoming ，只是在不正式使用中，用賓格代替了所有格而已。
