這四個詞都有“說話”的意思,就像“一家子”,但畢竟還有區(qū)別：
[speak]：只是表示“說”、“說話”,或發(fā)出話語的聲音,而不管內(nèi)容是什么.如：
She is speaking to the assistant.
You speak English.
[say]：不僅表明“說”,而且是有內(nèi)容的,在直接引語或間接引語前后,通常都用say ,如：
He sayshev's goingtohelp me .
“I won't come .”said Tom .
It's hard to say who it was.
[tell]：它的意思是“告訴”,即傳達(dá)給某人關(guān)于別的事情,如：
Thenext dayin school, shetold Tom about the note .
[talk]:意思是“交談”、“談?wù)摗?一般指相互間的談話,且沒有一定的內(nèi)容.有時要談到關(guān)于某人某事時,后接介詞 about 或 of ,（還可作名詞）如：
In the bus we sattogether and talked.
We offen talkabout our work and study.
I had a long talk with her.
