Sales Manager should be able to:
- Oversee management of inside and outside sales reps to insure the appropriate levels of distribution, sales & service are met.
- Work closely with key accounts to assist in yearly business planning.
- Maximize sales and provide a foundation for future growth for all brands under Girl Distribution.
- Develop strategic sales plan to increase sales volume for each brand and market. Set annual brand and category sales goals in dollars and units. Prepare sales reporting showing current sales volume and future potential sales.
- Obtain and review monthly / seasonal pre-book sales orders for all brands.
- Work closely with retailers and reps to obtain and process A/O and fill-in orders.
- Review all accounts while working closely with A/R to insure accounts keep in good credit standing.
- Attend and prepare detailed sales info, brand position and performance updates at regularly scheduled meetings.
- Attend industry related trade shows.
- Travel regularly to key accounts to evaluate brand performance and collect market share information.
- Interact with design departments and provide feedback.
Experience requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years working in a sales management position within the action sports industry.
- Demonstrated success in growing a domestic brand presence and sales.
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with integrated business software.
- Demonstrated success in business planning.
- Must be able to handle a large account base and all necessary documentation.
