Computers are getting increasingly popular with families throughout the world. Like all things in the world, computers have both advantages and disadvantages. With a computer connected to the Internet, a lot of things can be accomplished. We can get educated online. We can buy things online. We can play games online. We can watch films online. It seems we can do almost everything online. However, if computers are used in a wrong way, they can do physical and mental harm to us. For example, nowadays many children are very interested in computer games. This causes a lot of trouble. They spend a lot of time playing computer games. It is very bad for their eyes. Many children have to wear glasses for this reason. What is worse, some of them don’t pay attention to their studies any more. So it is really important to use the computer properly.

Nowadays it is very often to have computers at home. It has both advantages and disadvantages to the usage of the computer. As for it, diferent people have different opinions. I think we should avoid shortcomings and make fully use of it's benefits to improve ouselves.
For one thing, we, middle school studens can use computers to browse some foreign websites to grab fresh information of study and science. By browsing foreign websites, we can enlarge our vocabulary and broaden our horizon. And meanwhile it can stimulate us to study English harder to understand the contents of the website.
For the other, we can relax ourselves by listening some music on line. Anyway we have to control the time for recreation by the computer.
Finally, we can use the computer to study. Now the informationon line is adequate enough for you to study and improve your efficiency.
