Computers vs traditional schools
Different people will hold different opinions about studying at home or studying at school.personally I would prefer to study at traditional schools.because they have more advantages,such as experienced teachers,disciplined learning and good facilities.
One hand,schools provide us experienced teachers which know about us most.they can teach us well according to our level and answer our questions immediately when we are studying in the classroom.whereas if we study at home,the only thing we can do is to listen the voice and we don’t have any chance to ask the teacher questions.this process seems like we are taught by machines without thinking or personal ideas.so we can’t truly grasp the knowledge and apply them to practice.
On the other hand,schools also provide us disciplined learning.in order to develop us ability extensively,the subjects are arranged equally at school.but at home,most of students may only learn the course which they are interested in.actually,many children are too young to decide which course they should learn or should not.in this case,schools are systematic in guiding students to plan for their curriculum scientifically and beneficially.
Additionally,schools invest on many good facilities to assist the teaching.we know that there are many courses including experiments to do.for instance,when we are performing a chemistry experiment,we need specialized equipment such as test tubes or alcohol and this may not be properly at home.in other words,we can only
learn theoretical chemical knowledge through computers or TVs.some people may argue that there are some small experiments we can do at home.but I still think it is dangerous to do these experiments without guidance.at school the teacher will guide us step by step to complete this experiment successfully.
Finally,while we are studying at school,we get to know each other and learn to complete the assignment in the team.we learn how to communicate with others and how to distribute our tasks among ourselves.we can also learn to coordinate relationship with others and share success or failure with our classmates.none of them is possible to be taught at home.
Admittedly,choosing to studying at home has advantages to some extent.you can study in a comfortable environment and select whenever you want.but if all these factors are compiled,the advantages of studying at school carry more weight than those of studying at home.so,i would like to go to a school for my study.
