Bing’go’s predictions for 2011
I went to visit my friend Bing’go the other day.I wanted to pick his brains about the future.Bing’go is good at making predictions.He predicted the iPad and the world financial crisis.He predicted that Justin Bieber would be a star and that Liu Wei would win China’s Got Talent (中國達(dá)人秀).
Bing’go has the gift of predicting because he is an elf.He’s small and lives in a little house under the Nanpu Bridge.When I visited,he opened the door at my first knock and said,“Come in,come in.I knew you’d come.Sit down,sit down.Can’t give you much time.I’m busy,busy,busy.” I sat down and Bing’go scurried out of the room.He came back in wearing what looked like a space suit and carrying a small piece of plastic in one hand.
“Sorry to bother you,Bing’go,” I said.“But I’d like to know about 2011.What’s going to happen?”“Oh,” Bing’go replied.“Faster,faster,everything will be faster.Lots of new things,too.” The little piece of plastic in his hand,he explained,was a 6G phone.And the “space” suit,he said,was an “ecology” suit and would be the next big thing in fashion.
“What about the world?” I asked.“Anything big happening in 2011?”“Oh,no,” he replied quickly.“Year of the Rabbit ...everything peaceful,everything quiet.” Then he paused and said mysteriously,“But watch out for 2012!”
