8 NAVIGATION & COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION
8.1 VHF-FM TRANSCEIVER
Two (2) VHF-FM transceiver [25W, 55 Channels, 24V DC] with DSC to be provided.
8.2 RADAR
Two (2) Radar, X-band, with 20’ color display to be provided in accordance with SOLAS. GPS, Speed Log, AIS, etc to be able to interphase with the radar. Necessary seatings interphasesand cabling must be provided for by the Builders.
8.3 GYROCOMPASS
One (1) Master Gyro to be incorporated in the Steering stand.
Following repeaters to be provided:
- Bridge wings (2)
- Wheelhouse front (1) – BEARING GYRO REPEATER
- Steering gear compt. (1)
8.4 AUTO PILOT
One (1) with necessary interphase with Gyro/GPS/
8.5 MAGNETIC COMPASS
One (1) standard magnetic reflector binnacle compass complete with azimuth circle is to be fitted on the top of wheelhouse.
Compass deviation cards are to be provided.
8.6 ELECTRICAL NAVIGATION LIGHTS & SHAPES
A complete set dual lens, navigation lights are to be supplied and fitted as specified in electrical section. In additional to this, the following is also to be supplied :
Two (2) masthead lights
Two (2) sidelights
One (1) sternlight
Two (2) anchor lights
Two (2) black circular shapes plus one (1) spare
Two (2) black diamond shapes
One (1) bunkering light
Three (3) NUC lights
One (1) set immigration lights
8.7 FLAG
One (1) Singapore national ensign is to be provided.
8.8 HORN
The following are to be provided :
One (1) air horn with one hand-operated mechanical plunger in wheelhouse.
8.9 ANEMOMETER
One (1) set anemometer and anemoscope system to be provided.
8.10 SHIP'S BELL & Gong
One (1) 300 mm dia brass bell, with rope and ship's name and year of completion engraved, is to be provided and located as per Owner's recommendation.
One gong will be provided.
