析：compare with 短語中 with 是介詞,介詞+ 賓語,即with +賓語,賓語可以是名詞、代詞、動名詞、也可是從句（作賓語的句子即是賓語從句）；
當(dāng)然,介詞with 不能直接連接一個句子,介詞沒用連接從句的功能,連詞才有連接從句的功能.
即 compare with + （conj.+賓語從句）；但連接賓語從句的連詞that 只起連接作用,沒有實際的意義,也不在從句中充當(dāng)成分,因此也可省略.
例：
Compared with what he bought ,this is much better.與他買的那個比起來,這一個好多了.
He said (that) he would go the next day.句中 that 可省略.
Compared with (that) he suffers so much,I am very lucky.句中that可省略
