Does breakfast means the meal in the morning or the first meal of the day?
All of the english-chinese dictionary says the word 'breakfast' means 'the meal in the morning'.But the Oxford says it is 'the first meal of the day'
The problem is that if one wakes up too late and has his first meal in the afternoon,I wonder if I can say he is having his 'breakfast'?

generally speaking ,we have our first meal in the morning of the day ,and I believe when you say breakfirst to a foreigner ,he will think you are saying the meal in the morning .
