In modern society, there are quite a lot issues which are discussed often. The relationship between parents and children is one of those heated topic. In this article, I would like to introduce some measures to improve their mutual relationship. Firstly, parents and children are supposed to chat with each other frequently. Children are encouraged to talk to their parents everything ranging from individual problems to domestic and abroad issues as well as to share their thoughts with parents broadly. At the same time, parents are advised to listen for their children's words carefully and support their ideas, opinions or even actions only if it is in correct way. The more communication takes place between parents and children,the better mutual relationship would set up. The second point is that both parents and children ought to consider things in each other’s shoes. It can be illustrated that parents ought to consider what feeling their children are likely to have if they decide to do so. In turn, the children are the same. They should think about from the parents’ perspectives. “Am I do it right or whether I should do that”. If children take actions after think twice, a lot of things can be done quickly and correctly. Their parents certainly would believe that their children are up to carry out things by themselves. And a good relationship has been established in that way. To sum up, there are a lot of methods could be done to improve the relationship between parents and children. The suggestions I proposed are just two typical examples of this topic. I simply believe that if we show a more understanding to our parents, the relationship would be harmonious and joyous.
