Children have a much slower tempo than we do.Their thought patterns are forming and they need time to process information in order to respond to us.Slow down with your baby and you will be helping her immensely.
You will learn to read and understand your child better if you take your time first to understand what your child really needs.
Babyies don´t need constant entertainment in the form of rocking,carrying hugging.If overentertained or overstimulated,they sleep less.New babies should be allowed to sleep as much as possible.They are going through continuos growth spurts.Imagine if we double our weight in six months!It seems to be a uniquel American attitude that one should always be busy doing something and sleep is a waste of time.A young baby has a unique agenda,which is to eat,sleep,explore her new world and be cared for.
