How did you enjoy your summer holiday
Good morning everybody!I’m XXX from class 12.It's my honor to speak here,and give you a speech.Then today I'd like to talk something about my summer holiday.
I think I’m a lucky guy because I did not go to school since month 4,so I had a longer summer vacation than other guys.During this long holiday the most meaningful things I did was that I had a journey.And that also was my first journey.
The place I traveled named Beijing whose history and cultural are indeed deep.This journey lasted a week.We went to the great wall,the forbidden city,the summer palace and the imperial college and other places of historic interest scenic beauty like any visitors did.There are so many beauties that surprised me.Besides enjoyed the beauty we also enjoyed the gourmet food.We had a wonderful dinner in Quanjude whose Beijing roast duck is known far and wide.And we also enjoyed other signs snakes like Candied Haw in a Stick.I think this traditional food is delicious and attractive.
From this journey I not only gained knowledge about the old history but also learned many truth from it.For example when I climbed the great wall I learned I must insist on when I faced difficulties.Only in this way can we succeed.And I also learned it’s our responsibility to protect the historical heritage.
This journey not only enrichs my holiday but also opened my eyes.
