It was the Chinese New year's eve yesterday.our family came together and had a big meal.Before dinner,we set off firecracks to celebrate the special day .We had a full table of dishes and they were all very delicious.Of course we had dumplings tonight,because that is our Chinese tradition.After dinner,we watched the CCTV spring festival evening party together.The TV show was so wonderful and we have a great time!That’s the happiest time in this world!I really enjoyed it!

I had a great time during my winter vacation.The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study.I assigned my homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in time.Secondly,I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original reading.Among all the classical movies,the Sound of Music was the most exciting one.Lastly,I was lucky to taste several Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them.It is said it originated from Hangzhou centuries ago,made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is famous for its special aroma and taste.Now I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming challenges.

My Happy Times During Winter Vacation
I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the countryside happily.I can do many interesting things there.I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside.After snow,I would like to skate with my friends.When night comes,I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories.And I tell her some new things happening in the city.When I have to go back,I am always reluctant to go.I really feel happy living in the countryside!
