I chose the museums as my project to better understand the aboriginal cultures from their roots.I know that currently,we are unable to physically travel back in time,meaning that we cannot observe history directly as it occurs.Even being able to travel just a few years back can make a huge impact on the life of a nation,then how about eight or nine centuries?No matter what,museums are good places for us to amass history.It presents us a logical order in which we can see the events that transpired during the long process of history that we did not take part in.Creative thinkers throughout human history have developed diverse viewpoint on studying the world.Various historians might offer different perspectives as history unfolds before us,which would affect our thoughts on that period of time.Nevertheless,museums will present in an objective and balanced manner.Comparatively,museums analyze more instead of evaluating.As a result,we can see through the mist that clouds history more clearly.
“Museum attendance is most popular in Quebec for those between 30 and 60 years of ages.Just over one-quarter (28.7%) of Quebec residents under 30 visited a museum.” But in Canada (1998 data),the attendance in human history and community museums is only 11.9%.According to the data,we should appeal to teenagers to visit museums,because youths are the future of a country and it is important for them to be aware of the aboriginal history.
