According to the statistics in a report, the green area in the city of Binhai, which was only about 17500 square metres is increasing annually. It is estimated that by the end of 2011, the area will have been enlarged to 280 hectare based on the fact that the government is determined to continue the green program.
It can benefit us a lot. We’ll have fresher air, for trees can reduce air pollution. Our city will look more beautiful. Besides, not only can trees provide oxygen for human beings but also they are home to many wild animals.
In my eyes, more strict laws should be made to raise people’s awareness to protect the green area. Especially we students should do little things to make a difference.
