In the course of life,we ineluctably face many life choices which might dramatically change our life and lead us on different paths.Age 16 is a difficult age period in which at this point for most teenagers where they have to make difficult life decisions such as beginning to decide going to college,working after high school.However,for Amish teenagers,age 16 is the turning point in their life- they are facing a harder life choice whether they would join the Amish church or not.Those Amish teenagers in the film “Devil’s Playground” make their choice very differently; some would join the church and permanently live in Amish lifestyle,and some would choose to leave the Amish community and continuously explore the “English world”.And whatever they choose,their decision definitely drift them in different directions.And either decision will inevitably lead them into a new pathway of life along with both advantages and disadvantages.
