go to school 上學(xué) / go to the school 去那個(gè)學(xué)校（去干什么不一定）
go to concerts 聽(tīng)演唱會(huì) / go to the concert 去某個(gè)特定演唱會(huì)
go to class 上課/go to the class 上某堂課
go to church去教堂作彌撒/go to the church 去教堂（干嘛不一定）
go to lunch去吃午餐 / go to the lunch 去某個(gè)午餐會(huì)
在有的時(shí)候（只是指去某個(gè)地方時(shí)）分別是不大,可以只是單復(fù)數(shù)泛指的分別：

go to beaches / go to the beach
