Also try to understand your parents and always listen to what they want to say to you, they maybe judgmental but I am sure they love you and only want the best for you. They don't want to see you hurt. No matter how old you are, you will always be their child that they feel they need to protect. Stay in the relationship and fight for him/her if you're confident that he/she is indeed a good person and worth it.
