A nurse took a tired solider(士兵)to an old man.“You son is here,” she told the old man.The old man could only dimly(模糊)see the young solider.He reached out his hand .The solider tightly held the old man’s hand.The nurse brought the solider a chair so that he could sit beside the bed.All through the night,the young solider sat there,holding the old man’s hand .Now and then the nurse heard him say some words.The dying man said nothing .He only held his son’s hand tightly all through the night.
